This Privacy Policy explains how BREATHmg collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit the website, purchase or download a product, create an account, use My BREATHmg, participate in Breath Buddies, submit an access request, or contact us.

Information we collect

• Contact and account information: name, email address, account settings, and support communications.
• Purchase information: products selected, transaction status, order number, billing details, and payment confirmation. Payment-card information is processed by Shopify and its payment providers.
• Practice information: session completion, practice dates, program progress, playback position, and information you choose to place in Awareness Notes.
• Breath Buddies information: circle membership, display name, top-line practice activity, last check-in, encouragement messages, and nudges intentionally shared with the circle.
• Access-request information: military eligibility declarations and nonprofit organization, mission, audience, group size, intended use, and contact information.
• Device and usage information: browser, device, IP address, cookies, pages viewed, interactions, and security or diagnostic events.

How we use information

We use personal information to process purchases, provide downloads and account access, operate My BREATHmg and Buddy features, restore progress, respond to support and access requests, secure the service, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and understand or improve product reliability.

We do not use private Awareness Notes for advertising. We do not sell Awareness Notes or detailed practice history.

Breath Buddies privacy

Members of a Buddy circle can see top-line activity, last check-in information, and messages intentionally shared with the circle. Detailed practice history and Awareness Notes are not displayed to Buddies. Do not place confidential information about another person in a shared message.

Wellness information

BREATHmg is an educational wellness service, not a healthcare provider. Information entered into My BREATHmg is not a medical record and might not receive the protections that apply to information held by a healthcare provider. Do not enter medical or other sensitive information that you do not want stored in the service.

How information is disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that help operate the store and product, including Shopify, payment processing, account services, hosting, storage, analytics, transactional email, customer support, security, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transaction subject to applicable legal protections.

Information intentionally shared through Breath Buddies is disclosed to the intended circle as described above.

Cookies and similar technology

The website and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technology for account access, saved preferences, security, checkout, analytics, and legally permitted marketing. Available choices may depend on your location, browser, and Shopify customer-privacy settings.

Marketing choices

Transactional messages about purchases, accounts, access requests, downloads, security, or support are not promotional messages. Promotional email is sent only when permitted by law and according to the choices available in the message or account.

Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the account, provide purchased access, maintain transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Some transaction and security records may be retained after an account or content-deletion request when required or permitted by law.

Your privacy rights

You may also have rights to limit certain processing or opt out of certain advertising uses. BREATHmg will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No online service or transmission method is completely secure. Contact us promptly if you believe an account or personal information has been compromised.

Children

Direct consumer accounts are not intended for children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us. An organization using BREATHmg with younger participants is responsible for obtaining appropriate authorization and following applicable law.

International use

Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where Shopify or other service providers operate. Applicable safeguards and legal requirements may vary by location.
